Thank you for visiting Outlier Mercantile. Let me introduce myself to you, my name is Kailey!

My dream of owning a boutique became a reality in April 2022. Outlier Mercantile was originally located in a little church in the town of Black Diamond, Alberta. I fell in love with the little store and the carefully curated pieces, sadly the owner decided to close and move the business to BC.
I missed the little store in that beautiful church and decided to approach the previous owner to see if she wanted to let it go and she said YES, it was time for the store to be “reborn and reloved” so that is what I am going to do.

Outlier Mercantile is an inspired collection of women’s clothing, accessories, decor, art, gifts, and vintage items. If you are conscious of trends, but not led by them… If you love combining old pieces with new and creating a look that is all your own this is the place to shop. It will be a consciously curated collection of hand selected garments. We adore anything that is unique, vintage inspired, or nods to our western heritage. I originally come from a rodeo family, so I have always been involved with that life and western influence, but I also found that I had those hippie dippy/gypsy type people in my life as well.
I think Outlier is a little mix of all that I love.
